Getting Started
First you'll need to create an account
Second, if you're under 13 you'll be prompted to call our office. You'll need to have your parent or legal guardian download and complete a Minor Release Form and return to us before you'll be able to use our website. You can bring us the form in person, mail it or fax it to 904.332.6722.
Once we have your form, we'll activate your account and you'll be able to use our website to sign up for projects. (Please note that forms are processed on weekdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. only.)
Now you're ready to go! To search for teen-friendly projects, click on search projects and scroll to the project attributes option. Select "teen-friendly" to filter all of the available teen projects.
If you're looking for a volunteer project your youth group can do, please fill out a Group Project Request Form and we'll work to find the perfect volunteer project for you!

Check it Out!

HandsOn Jacksonville's Youth Council formed in April to decide on some of the area's greatest needs and organize volunteer projects to make an impact for Global Youth Service Day. They decorated visitation rooms at a child services facility, fed the hungry, made movie boxes for a children's hospital, led a family field day, did a beach clean up, raised money for the American Cancer Society, did lawn maintenance for the Humane Society and collected nearly 7,000 pounds of food for the food bank! The Youth Council will reconvene in September. If you'd like to join, please download the application and return to us by September 10.
Get Ur Good On is an online network of youth supporting each other in their mission to do "good" in their communities. It's a place where you can decide what needs fixing in the world and gives you the chance to showcase what you're doing to make a difference through blogs, photos and videos.
Do Something believes teenagers and young people everywhere can improve their communities and provide teens the resources and opportunities to make things happen.
We want to hear from you! What are you doing good in the community? How can HandsOn Jacksonville help? How would you like to get involved?Email us to let us know!
